Daniela Cadena is a growth designer, with over eights years experience in product development and user experience. She founded her first company in 2012; as an entrepreneur she discovered her commitment to solving social problems through profit-driven models. Currently she is the Director of Venture Ready Programs at StartUP FIU where she leads the design and implementation of a suite of programs supporting student entrepreneurs and inventors in the different stages of their innovation journey. She encourages inventors to leverage emerging technologies when designing sustainable products and services. Prior to coming to FIU, she touched the lives of Google, Johnson & Johnson and IDEO; a design thinking consulting firm. Daniela is a Global Shaper Fellow, a branch of the World Economic Forum that fosters a network of young people driving dialogue, action and change across the world. Creative and empathetic, she completed a Masters in International Relations at IE Business School and shared her idea of "rediscovering human value" on the TedX stage.
