About the event

Seaworthy's Startup Showcase is back and better than ever!

Traditionally our biggest event of the year, we're celebrating and elevating the incredible work being done by BlueTech startup founders who Seaworthy Collective has been mentoring and supporting throughout 2023. Seaworthy’s latest cohort of startups are addressing critical challenges in ocean and climate impact, including solutions for pollution, greenhouse gas reduction and removal, as well as coastal resilience and adaptation, with direct applications for Miami and beyond.

For our 3rd year showcasing our community's latest innovators and entrepreneurs, whom we proudly call “Sea Change Makers”, we have an exciting program planned, to include:

  • Keynote Speaker: Ted Janulis, Founder & Principal, Investable Oceans
  • Startups and Entrepreneur Showcase: Live pitch presentations from each Startup who participated in Seaworthy’s 2023 Founder Mentorship Program
  • Seaworthy's CEO Daniel Kleinman: Update on Seaworthy’s mission, past cohorts, and 2024 Outlook
  • Networking, Learning, and Community Building

For this year, we're offering an additional private reception for those looking to go above and beyond in supporting our work driving access and inclusion in ocean and climate impact innovation. The private reception is an intimate meet and greet opportunity between Seaworthy startup founders, our keynote speaker, investors, corporate partners, as well as the Seaworthy team and its advisors.

About our Keynote Speaker, Ted Janulis:

Ted Janulis is Founder & Principal at Investable Oceans, an ocean investment hub that accelerates market-based sustainable ocean investing across all asset classes and sectors of the Blue Economy. Over a 35+ year business career, Ted has served in various executive positions, including CEO, at financial institutions involved in Capital Markets, Banking and Asset Management. He is President Emeritus of The Explorers Club in New York City and serves on numerous for-profit and not-for-profit boards, including Gannett Co Inc, Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance (ORRAA), One Ocean Foundation and Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment Board of Visitors.

Private Reception tickets are also only available in limited quantities. Ticket prices for General Admission will go up  to $35 after October 13th!

All ticket sales and partnerships are tax-deductible donations to Seaworthy Collective (501c3).
